Nighttime Effect — Luminous Green Glow
When the lights go out, the leaves treated with fluorescent powder emit a soft luminous green glow. Key characteristics: ✔ Glow lasts for several hours at night ✔ Emits a calm, ambient green light (not harsh or dazzling) ✔ Creates depth, rhythm, and focal points within the wall Rather than glowing uniformly, the selective illumination of 1–2 leaf types adds contrast and sophistication, making the wall visually dynamic.
How does a luminous green wall glow at night?
The glow comes from photoluminescent powder applied to selected artificial leaves. This material absorbs ultraviolet or visible light during the day and slowly releases the stored energy as visible light in darkness. The process is repeatable and does not degrade under normal commercial use.
How long does the glow effect last each night?
The glow duration usually lasts 8-12 hours each night. Brightness gradually fades over time. The exact duration depends on the charging light intensity, exposure time, and powder formulation. After recharging the next day, the wall will glow again at night.
Will the luminous effect fade over time?
Under normal indoor and semi-outdoor conditions, the luminous effect remains stable for years. High-quality photoluminescent powder is designed for long-term use and repeated charging cycles without significant loss of performance.
Does a luminous green wall need electricity or wiring?
No. Luminous green walls are completely power-free. They do not require electricity, wiring, batteries, or external light sources at night. This makes them easy to install and safe for commercial spaces where electrical work is limited or not preferred.
Does adding luminous powder affect UV resistance or flame retardancy?
No. When properly applied, the photoluminescent powder does not reduce the UV resistance or flame-retardant properties of the artificial foliage. ULAND integrates the luminous layer without compromising existing commercial safety standards.
Is the luminous green wall safe for commercial use?
Yes. The photoluminescent materials used are non-toxic, non-radioactive, and safe for indoor environments. They produce no heat and emit no harmful substances, making them suitable for public spaces and commercial projects.
Do luminous green walls require special maintenance?
No special maintenance is required. Cleaning and care are the same as standard artificial green walls. The luminous effect does not require replacement parts or additional servicing.
Can luminous green walls be used outdoors?
They are suitable for indoor and semi-outdoor environments. For full outdoor use, UV-stable materials and controlled exposure conditions are recommended to ensure long-term performance.
