Do acoustic panels work?
Yes, they do!
Our acoustic panels feature 3D slatted structures that effectively isolate sound. Sound waves vibrate between the gaps and are absorbed by the recycled felt backing, creating a quieting effect. The acoustic board panels have a measured Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC) of 0.85.
How are acoustic slat wood panels manufactured?
1. First, veneer the entire high-density fiberboard and heat press it once the veneer is done. Then, smooth out any burrs at the veneer joints, polish the surface, and apply paint on the production line (UV paint can be applied depending on your needs).
2. After veneering, cut the large board into wooden strips.
3. Use nails to assemble the wooden strips and acoustic felt together. The process is eco-friendly and doesn’t require glue.
How to install acoustic board panels?
1. Prepare the Surface: Clean the wall or ceiling where you’ll install the acoustic panels. Sand down any bumps or rough spots to create a smooth surface.
2. Measure and Mark: Use a tape measure to mark where the panels will go. Make sure they’re spaced evenly and aligned properly. A level will help keep the lines straight.
3. Cut Wall Sound Panels (If Needed): If the panels need trimming to fit, use a saw or utility knife to cut them to the right size.
4. Apply Adhesive: Use a strong adhesive (like construction adhesive) and spread a thin, even layer on the back of each panel.
5. Mount the Panels: Press the acoustic wood panels firmly onto the wall or ceiling where you’ve marked. Hold them for a few seconds to let the adhesive bond. If they’re large, you might need temporary supports until the adhesive sets.
6. Secure the Soundproof Panels (Optional): For extra hold, you can use screws or nails along the edges. Pre-drill small holes to avoid damaging the panels.
